What content can I use in a Discovery Demo? 

Discovery Demos are made up of the Consensus content you have previously created. The content you can use are: 

• Consensus Demos*
  • Standard personalization demos
  • Single experience videos
  • Single experience story path tours
  • Single experience dynamic tours
    • *Advanced Branching Demos are not available to be used in Flow Demos. 
• Dynamic tours previously created in ReachSuite’s portal
  • ReachSuite Intelligent Disco Flows are not available in Discovery Demos.

What is the difference between a Discovery Demo and Discovery Builder? 

The Discovery Builder is the canvas where you orchestrate the experience for the viewer. This is where you set discovery questions, connect demos, and create the workflow that will be delivered. 

The Discovery Demo is what you deliver to a viewer and how they interact with what you built. It can be shared via DemoBoard or Public Link. You can see an example here. 
 

What will be included in the Lead Capture form? 

Lead capture fields are set in your Global Demo Settings. The number of DemoBoard fields can be controlled by toggling the “Reduce DemoBoard Required Fields” field under “Account Settings”. Public Link Lead Forms can be created and customized in the Public Links Lead Forms tab. 

How do I update the branding? 

Update your branding as you would any other demo, in Step 2 of the demo creation process

To change the Dynamic Tour mouse color during recording to go the ReachSuite brand settings. 

What is the best size for the Discovery Demo backgrounds?

The best ratio for the image is 16:9 , and for best results, please use a 1920 x 1080 image size.

What is the recommended number of questions to include?

We recommend five or fewer discovery questions per journey.

Can the viewer start over?

Yes, at the end they will get a prompt to start the demo over. Otherwise, they can reload the URL in their browser to re-start the entire demo.

Can I loop back to a previous question?

Not yet, but soon!

How do PIVs work in a Discovery Demo?

The same as they do in all other demo types.

Can a Discovery Demo be updated after it's been sent to customers?

Yes! You can make changes to the Demo even after the link has been sent to a customer. 

Will the Demo Library folder structure be available in the Discovery Builder when choosing SVD or Standard Demos?

Not yet, but you can search for demos and filter by demo type, favorites, tags, and more. 

Who gets access to build Discovery Demos?

By default the following roles will automatically have Discovery Demo Creator permissions on:

• Admin
• Content Manager
• Content Author
• Public Link Manager

Is this a paid feature or included with my subscription?

Discovery Demos are included with all Consensus subscriptions. 

What happens if I don't have access to Dynamic Tours with the Discovery Builder?

You don’t need Dynamic Tours to use our Discovery Builder. You can still choose a Standard Personalization Demo or Single Experience, including with Story Path Tours, to embed in a Discovery Demo.

Can a Discovery Demo be embedded on a website?

Yes, if you have the marketing module enabled on your account. Any Discovery Demo can be used in a Public Link.
