Hello everyone,

I am new to the Consensus platform and trying to use it effectively for sales demos. While I have read some guides, I am having trouble figuring out the best way to customize demos for different clients without overloading them with information. I want each demo to be engaging and directly relevant to the client’s specific needs, but I am unsure which features to prioritize or how much detail is too much.

If anyone has tips on structuring demos or making them more interactive, I would love to hear them! Are there any best practices or strategies that have worked well for you in terms of keeping clients interested without overwhelming them?

I also read this topic on this site https://goconsensus.com/blog/shorten-sales-cycles-with-these-4-interactive-demo-tips-blue-prism but I could not find anything helpful for me.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Best,

Hey there Helena - thanks for the question.

I’m happy to help.

First off, I’d recommend looking at this article, which describes the 6 demo types.

Then, as you say in your question you want to make sure you provide what your prospects/customers need, and make it relevant to their specific preferences.

The way we do it (and others have had great success) is that individual FAQ demos when grouped together into one ‘Standard Personalization Demo’ really helps people dive into specific things, whilst also being able to come back and learn about other things another time.

Whilst it’s more work for you, if you’re recording new demos for each client then you’ll have the opportunity to include industry/company specific things they’ll love, but still track who watches your content, when etc. I’m sure people will send it to those hard to reach stakeholders as well.

Did this answer your question? Hope so.. but if not please do reply, we’re here to help!

Thanks,
Mark.

(Also, which company are you at, I can ask your CSM to contact you as well to help) You can DM me if you prefer.
