Hey everyone,

I have been using Consensus for a little while now but I feel like I am not making the most of it. I know it is great for interactive demos & helping prospects get the info they need quickly but I want to hear how others are using it effectively.

How do you structure your demos to keep them engaging but not overwhelming? Do you have any tips for making sure prospects actually go through and interact with them instead of just skimming? Also, what is the best way to follow up after sending a Consensus demo—do you prefer email, LinkedIn or something else??

Also I have check this https://hub.goconsensus.com/topic/show?tid=268&fidtableau-certi I appreciate any insights If you have any cool tricks or things that have worked well for you I want to hear about them.

Thank you…...:)

@gwennadf Thank you for submitting your questions here. I’d like to try and help. The way that I recommend structuring demos really depends on what part of the funnel I’m intending for it to be used in. If it’s early on, I’ll keep it very brief, giving viewers just a taste of what our products can help with. As the prospect moves deeper in the funnel, I build content meant to give them more to see and understand. I’ve found that demo content becomes overwhelming when it gives the viewer too much to watch too soon. This article discusses this and there’s a great graphic that breaks down the six demo types

I’m curious to know what your creation process looks like. What I’ve found is that keeping it simple but very intentional has led to more engagement with our content. The thing that changed that for us was scripting. By writing out each word we want to say in a demo, we’re able to be very intentional and thoughtful in what we say which gives us better idea of what we should also show on screen. When we made this switch from demoing “off the cuff” to demoing from a script with well thought out ideas, we saw a boost in our quality but also the engagement with our viewers.

Lastly, keep an eye on this page as we’ll be adding more content soon.

Hope this is helpful!
